Short + Long Term Psychotherapy
I have had a long career as a therapist and have always loved this work. I see mostly individual clients, providing evaluation, short and long-term treatment. I work with adults, adolescents and older adults who are experiencing a variety of mental health disorders and life adjustment problems.
The treatment modalities I use include Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment and Relational Focused therapies, Trauma Based Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
Geriatric Mental Health Services
My first job after graduating was in a long term care facility which included assisted living, skilled nursing and one of the first community based day programs. Now older adults are living longer and staying active and lndependent.
Aging in place is, in its own way, a balancing act. When an older person experiences a loss or a health challenge, it often has a ripple effect on many aspects of life. To provide evaluations, psychotherapy and care planning for an older person, one must take into consideration physical and mental health issues, family relationships and social support. I provide biopsychosocial assessments, individual and family sessions, liaison with other professionals and home visits and telehealth sessions where needed.

Consultation for Equine Therapy Programs
I am passionate about Equine Assisted Services which include psychotherapy as well as growth and learning activities. These are founded on experiential therapies such as Gestalt, play therapy and psychodrama. Horses are highly relational beings with individual personalities and complex communication. The horse is a powerful therapist offering a holistic, mind body connection that activates physical, emotional, and psychological pathways for growth in the client.
I have been certified as both a Mental Health and Equine Specialist by EAGALA and offer a wide range of consultation services that involve program design, development and evaluation. I would love to meet you and would be glad to observe your program free of charge and offer ideas for enhancing your Equine Therapy Program or helping you address a challenge you have identified.
